History
How you get from the zone to the elite
1953
1 of 6A workers' club from Novi Beograd
FK IMT is founded
The club was founded as the workers' team of IMT, the Industry of Machines and Tractors, one of the largest Yugoslav manufacturers of tractors and agricultural machinery. That's where the nickname that stuck to this day comes from: the Tractor Drivers.

First major promotion
By finishing first in the Belgrade Zone at the end of the 2013/14 season, IMT earned promotion to the Serbian League Belgrade. That same year the stadium reconstruction was completed, adding more than a thousand seats.

Promotion to the First League of Serbia
After six consecutive seasons in the Serbian League, finishing between second and eighth place, the 2019/20 season was cut short by the pandemic. IMT was in first place at the time and entered the second tier of Serbian football for the first time in its history.
2022

Play-off for the top flight
Two seasons in the First League ended in fourth place, and 2021/22 brought a play-off for the Super League. In the two-legged tie against Novi Pazar both teams won away from home (1:3, 0:2), but the rival kept its top-flight place on the away-goals rule.

IMT enters the Super League of Serbia
The biggest success in the club's history: first place in the First League of Serbia and direct promotion to the top flight. Seventy years after it was founded, the workers' club from Novi Beograd plays among the country's best.

Fourth season in the top flight
With Zoran Popović in the dugout and Mr Bit as general sponsor, IMT enters its fourth consecutive Super League season, opening it with two wins and a net opponents have yet to trouble.

Stadium
Old Traktor Arena
Stadion FK IMT is located near the "Ranko Žeravica" Sports Hall. It was rebuilt in 2013, when it gained 1,150 seats taken from the Partizan stadium, one of the best playing surfaces in the league, and a floodlit training pitch.
The nickname "Old Traktor Arena" was given by the fans, in tribute to the club's working-class roots.
Home matches in the 2026/27 season
The first team plays home matches at Gradski stadion "Lagator" in Loznica, because the stadium in Novi Beograd doesn't meet Super League requirements for floodlights and seating capacity.
What holds us together
Three things that never change
Working-class roots
We were founded by workers from a tractor factory. That mentality — that results come from work, not shortcuts — has stayed in the club seven decades later.
Youth first
Players born after 2007 regularly feature for the first team. The football school isn't a marketing add-on — it's a real path to the first team.
Novi Beograd
The club belongs to its municipality. The kids who come to training, the fans in the stands, and the people who run the club are all from here.

The next generation of Tractor Drivers starts here
FK IMT's football school takes children from age four. The first training session is free.
