Back to Winning Ways: IMT — Mladost 2:0

After three rounds without a victory, IMT are back to winning ways. In front of their own supporters at Lagator, in round 7 of the Mozzart Bet Serbian Super League, our tractor drivers beat Mladost of Lučani 2:0.

TIENDREBEOGO OPENS THE SCORING IN THE 37TH MINUTE

The first half long refused to yield a breakthrough, and then Josué Tiendrebeogo struck in the 37th minute to put the hosts ahead and lift the weight off a side that had taken two defeats and a draw in the previous three rounds.

KEITA SEALS THE WIN

Mladost pushed for an equaliser after the break, but IMT's defence held firm. Charly Keita made it 2:0 in the 84th minute, once the visitors had run out of steam.

THIRD PLACE AFTER SEVEN ROUNDS

This was IMT's fourth win of the season. After seven rounds the tractor drivers have 13 points — four wins, one draw and two defeats, with a goal difference of 10:4 — and sit third in the Super League, behind Crvena zvezda and Vojvodina.

The winless run that preceded this match began with a defeat in Šabac to Mačva (0:1), continued with a goalless draw against Radnički from Niš, and then a loss in Kragujevac to Radnički 1923 (1:2).
