Turnaround in Novi Pazar: IMT Win 2:1
IMT came back from Novi Pazar with all three points. In round 12 of the Mozzart Bet Serbian Super League, at the Gradski stadion, our tractor drivers turned the match around to win 1:2.
HOSTS DOWN TO TEN MEN FROM THE 27TH MINUTE
The first half produced no goals, even though Novi Pazar played from the 27th minute with ten men after Papa Amady Gadio was sent off. Nothing changed on the scoreboard before the break.
DIXON PUTS THE HOSTS AHEAD
Despite being a man down, the hosts went in front right at the start of the second half. Kaheim Dixon scored in the 48th minute, leaving our side chasing the game.
KEITA AND KAMANO TURN IT AROUND IN SEVEN MINUTES
The response came quickly, and it came twice. Charly Keita equalised in the 60th minute, set up by Delmás, and only seven minutes later Francois Kamano completed the turnaround for 1:2, assisted by Iván Martos. The score stayed that way to the final whistle.
THIRD PLACE AFTER TWELVE ROUNDS
This was IMT's sixth win of the season. After twelve rounds the tractor drivers have 21 points — six wins, three draws and three defeats, with a goal difference of 15:8 — and hold third place in the Super League, behind Crvena zvezda and Vojvodina.
NEXT UP: ŽELEZNIČAR AT LAGATOR
In round 13 IMT host Železničar of Pančevo on Friday 23 October at 18:00 at the Lagator City Stadium in Loznica. Železničar sit fourth on 20 points, just one behind our side, which makes this a direct meeting between rivals for a place at the top of the table.
