Sensation in Humska: IMT Win at Partizan
IMT's players continued their perfect start to the season with the biggest possible surprise. Away at Partizan in round 3 of the Mozzart Bet Serbian Super League, our "tractor drivers" celebrated a 2:1 win.
RED CARD IN THE 14TH MINUTE
The match took a distinctive turn inside the first fifteen minutes — Partizan's Aleks Zeković was sent off for a reckless challenge, leaving the hosts to play the rest of the match with ten men.
ŽAGAR OPENS THE SCORING, VUKOTIĆ RESPONDS
The first half finished goalless, but Dušan Žagar beat Partizan's goalkeeper in the 52nd minute to put IMT ahead. The hosts didn't give up even with a man down — Milan Vukotić levelled it at 1:1 in the 89th minute with a superb free kick, bringing the tension back into the closing stages.
LEBI THE HERO OF STOPPAGE TIME
The "tractor drivers'" response came immediately. Coming on from the bench, Oriyomi Lebi scored the winning goal in the 91st minute, earning IMT three points from one of the toughest away trips in the league.
UNBEATEN AFTER THREE ROUNDS
After three rounds played, IMT remain unbeaten — three wins, seven goals scored and just one conceded, and top of the table. The next test is away at Mačva in Šabac, on Sunday 9 August.
